Now this was an assignment I was excited about. For this assignment, we had to find a piece of artwork and recreate it as accurately as we could. This was given after my concentration review which was when my professors learned that I wanted to draw comics. While everyone else is making pictures based off of paintings made by the old masters, I made a recreation of a page from the incredible Batman: Hush storyline. I still can't believe my teacher let me do this.
This is a reproduction from chapter seven of the Hush storyline and features the titular villain in an immensely badass scene. This scene occurs after...you know what, I'm not gonna spoil it for you. You'll have to find out for yourself.
This piece took a lot of work because of how incredible of a penciler Jim Lee is. He is the greatest comic book artist I have ever seen. The scary thing is how every page he draws contains this level of detail. And actually, he puts in so much detail, that I had to cut back on some areas in order to make sure I finished on time. Of course, the real thing looks quite a bit better than this reproduction. The finished version is in full color and looks absolutely amazing. My hat goes off to Jim Lee and his incredible work.
I take zero credit for this. All credit goes to Jim Lee for his insane penciling, Jeph Loeb for his incredible writing, Scott Williams for being able to ink all of Lee's work, and Alex Sinclair for his outstanding coloring. And if you haven't read Hush yet, what are you waiting for? Go! Buy it! And drink in its outstanding quality!

Oh, that's what you meant. If you have a Borders bookstore near you, then search there. Look in the graphic novel section where they keep all of the other collections of superhero comics and it should be in there.
We don't have Border's books, but we do have Books-a-million and Barnes and Noble, they might have it.
