Star Fox Christmas

After making their way down a grassy path from their holiday villa, the vast ocean of Fortuna greeted Fox and Krystal.  They had taken a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of Corneria to enjoy someplace quieter than the capital city.  Even on Fortuna they had decided to stay away from the beach closest to them.  Privacy was what they wanted this holiday season.  Before them was an empty beach.  The warm breeze and shining sun only ensured them that they had made the right choice.  As Fox looked out over the beautiful view he commented, “Ah.  The best part about having a ship is being able to…” 

“…travel to a summer planet at any time!” Krystal finishes his thought. 

He turns his head to her and says, “and to spend that time with you,” with a smile.  She squeezes his hand tight and gives him a big grin in return. 

“Think we should’ve asked the others to come with us?” Krystal asks. 

“Nope!  This is just for us!” Fox replies laughing.  The two of them tear off towards the waves.

Merry Christmas!  Normally I draw winter themed Christmas pictures, but I thought it would be fun to make something a bit more summery.  Who better to handle that than a pair of foxes with access to spaceships? And Fox is in a speedo for a friend who shall remain nameless.  XD

Also, it's been awhile since I've made a full color image like this.  I haven't painted forests very much, so hopefully the one behind them is passable!
